How do I find the photo I am looking for?
Three methods exist- use the Category
tree on
the left margin, Search for keywords, look through the Site Map
How does your web site
Search engine work?
You can search a word like cat or be more specific: mountain cat.
This would return pictures of only mountain cats, and not every photo of cats
and of mountains as keywords. You can also search photos by file names - DFR1234.
When I purchase
a photo will the watermark I see on the preview images be there?
No, when you purchase any photo the watermark is removed.
How do I pay for the file?
Payment can be made automatically through this site by credit card (Visa
Mastercard and others) or by cheque if you email us first. Files are
priced in Canadian dollars but our payment system will except 12
different denominations.
What does my money get me?
The purchase of a photo gives you a high quality JPEG file.
Why are purchased files smaller then I thought?
Files are compressed to a smaller size for delivery. Content of an image
also plays a part in size. When a file is opened, it will return to its
true size.
How do I get the file
after I have paid for it?
After you pay for your photo file you will be sent back to our download
page. Click on the links and save the file to your hard drive.
What size file do I need ?
Depends on the layout size
and media use.read

Are files ready for
use?
Yes, each file has been reviewed in Photoshop and if necessary colour
corrected, retouched. Our files can
be dropped in web pages, PowerPoint and print pieces with little to
no editing.
How do I know if an
image is model released?
On the photo details page by the left of the image it will list if the
image has a model or property release.
When I buy the image file, do I own it?
No you are "renting it" under certain terms.
Can I use reuse the
image again?
Yes, you OR the client you are working for, are licensed to use a photo purchased
as often as you wish according to our terms.
How large can I print?
As large as you dare. There is no definitive limit. The larger you go
the softer the image. With a little Photoshop magic who knows. We
have had banners printed from our files - no problems :^)
